Setup

With dotFX Cloud 2.0, migrating an existing application to the cloud could not be easier. Setup a ServerFX server or server farm and drop the existing application into the application repository. There’s no need to re-write it for the web, wrestle with AJAX, or otherwise change it in any substantive way.

Resource optimization

Now you need to consider where you would like your application to run. dotFX Cloud 2.0 allows you to decide where your code runs, all the way down to the individual object level, if you wish. You may choose to run no more than the user interface on the user’s PC; or you may opt to push as much processing as possible over to the client, thereby slashing your server and bandwidth scaling requirements. Either way it is unlikely that the user will notice any difference.

Update

To update the application just drop the updates in the ServerFX application repository. These will become immediately available to all online users, ensuring a single, always up-to-date code base for you to maintain.

Administration

Use AdminFX to monitor Server CPU load and computing throughput. View a range of load statistics and graphs including network usage, types of data, session management, working applications list, server objects, and network connections.
